As part of an ongoing research and community innovation program Cornwell dedicates a sizeable portion of time to assisting organisations that need it the most. Our commitment is marked by our want to create more liveable and vibrant communities. Through our fundraising events and pro bono design services we have supported community groups such as Camp Quality, Cancer Council Victoria, the Melbourne Prize Trust, The City Library, Creativity Australia, Australia Cares and the Tafe Association of Media Art and Design (MAD for short). All have benefited greatly from our involvement, but more so, our teams have been rewarded with positive community contributions.

IP program

In addition to Steven lecturing nationally on brand strategy, brand communication and design, Cornwell also take part in Swinburne’s Industry Placement program. An important step in bridging the gap between education and industry, the IP program gives third year design students the opportunity to spend a year working in a design studio.

Artichoke

Artichoke is interesting and controversial, communicating good design and design issues. Artichoke covers interior architecture and design, textile design, product design, exhibition design and graphic design, and provides designers with news and information on current trends and projects.

Stemming from a relationship with Achitecture Media, Cornwell were responsible for starting the magazine.
