Cornwell has an accomplished team of strategists, marketers, designers and design managers with a wealth of experience across a broad range of industry sectors. For each project we put together a carefully selected team best suited to meeting the needs of the project.

Steve Cornwell - CEO

As founder and CEO of Cornwell Design, Steve provides the creative and strategic insight that frames the successful implementation of Cornwell’s brand identity solutions. Shortly after graduating from Monash University in 1991, Steve and his partner Jane Sinclair formed Cornwell Design. Under Steve’s leadership, Cornwell has developed its brand identity and design expertise to earn a reputation for solving a wide range of strategic brand and communication issues. Steve is creatively prolific – never short of ideas, designs or words!

He has self published three books – Cornwell One, Another One and Reflection. Steve also wrote, RIPE – new design in Australia, which comments on the future of design in Australia from the perspective of some of Australia’s best young designers. Steve’s eagerly anticipated new book, Possibility, is due in 2009 and showcases the work of the studio from the last 14 years. In addition to showcasing Cornwell’s work, Possibility provides a commentary on the increasingly important role of brand and design in creating and shaping our communities.

Steve is often invited to present or lecture on brand strategy, brand communication and design around Australia. He is a member of AGDA, the DIA and MADC, and founded the Issues and Images annual exhibition to raise money for the Victorian Cancer Council.
